This is interesting to me. Being able to put notes into a system and share them with others seems like a really cool feature.
I really enjoyed doing intrusion detection for Microsoft Corporate Security a few years back.
I wonder what their database infrastructure looks like now.. I’ll bet that they get a billion rows every 10 minutes now.
I had read an article a couple of years back about how Microsoft Corporate Security was using Parallel Data Warehouse to deal with the volume.
I am so glad that SQL Server has gained so much market share over the years.
Cheers SQL Server. If only tools like Wireshark would integrate better with a relational database.. that would be really cool!
